Katun was founded by Özüm Yelkencioğlu in May 2018. Knowing that visuality is important throughout her life, she created her own brand with the understanding of "Women are Beautiful" and how to become more beautiful.

'KATUN' ; It is a word meaning "queen, king's wife, princess" in Old Turkish. This word, which is also the origin of "Hatun", symbolizes "female power".

Having lived in this industry since her childhood, she always watched her mother's knowledge on beauty consultancy and how women became more beautiful with small touches, and this adventure led her to fashion. She started her education at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano in Italy and completed it at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Fashion Management.

He saw that it was very difficult to be successful without differentiation in an environment where production and services are so intense. He began making design and development plans. In search of innovative excitement, he immediately formed his team and brought his designs to life.
